THE ENDING OF THE JULIANTINA STORY LINE Scene No. ______ Final Scene Ever (Faint music playing in background) (Camera pans through photos of Juliana and Valentina on a bookshelf: their wedding day, various adventures together, their family, children, and grandchildren.) (Camera focuses out the window as a few figures are seen exiting a garden of a nursing home) (The figures one elderly woman, a few middle aged children, and a few young toddlers and seven to eight year olds) (Camera angled from window of room above looking down to see the figures walking back into the building) (Cut to elderly woman’s left hand resting on the window sill; wedding ring visible nervously playing with her right pinky) Insert Dialogue Here **in this last scene we see an elderly, but extremely happy couple... Juliana and Valentina - Valentina has been diagnosed with some sort of cancer as she is now in hospice care - Both her and Juliana’s children (now adults) and grandchildren have come to visit for what could be the last time - Friendly nurse walks in and tells the family (who are laughing and reminiscing) that visiting hours have ended - Juliana remains by Valentina’s side as the Nurse smiles knowingly —— Every night since being brought to hospice Juliana has never spent a night apart from Valentina *** these are the last words of dialogue between the two ever: (Heart Monitor Beeps steadily in background) (Juliana lying in hospital type bed next to Valentina who is under the sheets with J’s head resting on V’s shoulder) V: Juls. Go get some rest. J: How can you think that I’d leave you here alone? V: Try to sleep; my machines are doing fine and so am I (she smiles lovingly) J: Do you promise that if anything happens, anything at all, no matter what time, you’ll wake me? V and J: (both smile and laugh) V: (holds up her right hand and extends just her pinky) V and J: (pinky promise)
